projects
Our main focus is character animation, but as you'll see from the different projects we are and have been involved in, we do occasionally take a breather and delve into some broader VFX work. Use the links above or below to pick out the project you want to know more about...
Useless
We took part in the production of the videoclip for "Useless" by Don Diablo. Though mostly a 2D production, one of the the main features of the clip (replacing an actor's head by a questionmark) was delivered by yours truly.
Zephyr
Our first forray into the field of special FX for Science Fiction. Zephyr is a 20 minute feature mostly taking place in the debris-filled area around a desolate planet. Read all about it on this page.
Camiel - Maybe
Happy Ship made this videoclip for artist Camiel, featuring a little toaster-like robot and his quest for affection. It's already received quite decent attention on the web, and has just been aired for the first time. You can read about the project and download the clip here.
AC3D
We animated the 3D alterego's of popduo Arling & Cameron to go with their live show.
Demoreel 2002
We had to gather some of our stuff to show to a company, took it a wee bit too seriously, and ended up creating a serious 3:24 demoreel! Some old and new stuff in here, enjoy!
Ausziehn!
Back in 2002, we provided four virtual characters for a horror-comedy movie called "Ausziehn!", by german director Peter Morlock. Sadly the project went belly-up near the end, but we have some stuff to show nonetheless...
The Joust - a tale of direction
Our first short film 'The Joust' is, in our eyes, already an oldie. We made it in the final quarter of 2000, but it is still being asked for, and since we didn't manage to put a new short together in the meantime, it remains our only finished short film right now. Check out the Joust pages for some background info, stills, storyboards, and of course the movie itself!
